the best nursing clothes for breastfeeding

Spring is here in Alabama and we're loving these gorgeous warm, mild days before it gets really hot! In the meantime, we're working on more spring/summer styles that will be coming out soon! So here's a sneak peek at some of those new nursing styles plus a look at some of our latest releases!

"Dressing room diary" blog posts are the BEST! They give you an even better idea of how the clothes will look and fit (without any professional cameras/ models) along with ideas on how to style them to help make life easier!

First up is one of our newest arrivals - our 100% cotton Free Bird graphic nursing tee. The graphic hides the horizontal nursing zipper. I love it with leggings or darker jeans shorts!

Fit tip: Runs true to size. For an oversized look, size up one. Wearing size XS. For the sneakers - sized up 1/2 size (wearing 6).

Another new arrival is our fleece lined nursing sweatshirt in light heather gray. Perfect for chilly summer nights. This one is tunic length to wear with leggings. It has a roomy fit so size down if between sizes!

We've been getting restocks every week so don't forget to sign up for stock alerts on any products. We'll email you when an item is back in stock!

One of our recent restocks is our 100% cotton gauze midi dresses in black and in olive. The length is basically a maxi on me (since I'm 5'1) but doesn't hit the floor with flats. It has pockets and zipper openings disguised as bust darts.

Fit tip: Runs true to size with a relaxed fit. Wearing size XS.

Finally, our smocked bodice dress will be here next week (the week of April 22)! The chest is very stretchy because of the smocking and the zipper is hidden perfectly behind the ruffles. Plus it has pockets!

Fit tip: Runs true to size. Wearing size XS.

Smocked Print Dress | Wedges (old)

We're also in production with a new color in our 100% cotton tank dress- GREEN! The nursing opening is a pull-aside opening on the side of the dress. We will also be restocking the other colors on our site (black, cornflower blue, and hibiscus pink). They will be ready in early May.

Fit tip: Runs true to size with a relaxed fit. Wearing size XS.

Green Tank Dress | Sandals

One of our new dresses for spring is this gorgeous, green print dress and it sold out very quickly! We will be restocked in May! The zippers are hidden perfectly by the print and the belt! On this second production run, we lowered the skirt line on the larger sizes and lengthened the zippers.

Fit tip: Runs true to size. Wearing size XS.

Sizing- Fit Quiz!

NQ size chart

All of our designs fit true-to-size with a relaxed fit (which compensate for extra weight and a larger chest). Most of them also have an A-line fit, which means they fit across the chest/shoulders but flow away from the body so your waist and hip measurements don't matter.

Our sizes are similar to maternity-wear: order your pre-baby size. If you're between sizes, size down. Typically, the best way to determine your size is to follow your pre-baby size in numbers on the chart (4/6, 8/10, etc).

Plus Sizes: We follow a standard U.S. plus chart. Our plus sizes range from 1X-3X. NOTE: An XXL (in misses) is a size 1X in plus sizing.
