A review of Nursing Queen's ruffle nursing tee

Do you ever just want something cute, simple, and basic? So often I look through my closet and just pick a boring top to go with my jeans. (Although, these days I’m choosing a lot of leggings instead!) I’m ready for some color and fun details… but still kid-friendly please!
It’s not that I’m picky, I just don’t like a lot of prints. Prints on clothes means that I have to think extra hard about what to pair it with. Sometimes I just don’t have the time or effort to do that. So, solids it is. These navy and mint hued Cotton Ruffle Nursing Tops from Nursing Queen were callin’ my name, friends. (The entire Spring/Summer line is super cute actually!)

This top has tiered ruffles giving a breezy and casual style. The high/low hem is a fun detail. It flows away from the body and doesn’t hug anywhere. When I first saw this all I could think of was, “YES!”. Because during the summer, almost everything is body tight. I can just imagine how nice and cool it will be during hot days.
The fabric is 100% cotton. Helloooooooooo comfortable! I told you it was light and breezy. It’s a medium weight cotton, not super thin or see through. Since it is not a blend, washing on cold is recommended. This top does run slightly big. I normally wear a small in Nursing Queen apparel and for this I sized down to an extra small. (Folks, never in my life have I worn an extra small so this was quite a surprise. LOL) If you do wash on warm or tumble dry it could shrink by about 1″. My top was still a bit long so I tumble dried it and now it’s lovely.

Breastfeeding is super easy in the Cotton Ruffle Top. It features 2, two-way zippers, one from each side. The zippers can be used to open the entire front panel, which is perfect for pumping mothers or mothers nursing more than one child. My nursling loves to play with the dangling zippers as we snuggle. Great news, the zippers are really well hidden. Unless you can see the zipper pull you aren’t going to know this is a nursing top.
I feel like that’s something Nursing Queen does extremely well. They are so amazing at creating nursing wear that doesn’t look like nursing wear. It’s clothes mamas want to wear. Cute, trendy and functional all the same!
After testing this shirt I really tried to decide if there was anything I didn’t like about it. NOPE. Seriously! I wish it was available in more colors. (Pink or purple maybe???) This top is getting 5 Drops on The Boobable Scale. It’s an excellent basic that can easily go from jeans to shorts or elevated with a fun long necklace. This Cotton Ruffle Nursing Top goes as well with sneakers as it does with fancy sandals. It’s sure to become your new go-to basic.
