Nursing Queen Sweater Gets 5 Stars On Boobable Scale

Who else’s favorite season is Fall? Give me everything Fall! I love pumpkins (and yes, pumpkin spice), apples, falling leaves, crisp mornings, camping (one of our favorite Fall activities), . I look forward to Fall with eager anticipation each year! Don’t get me wrong I do miss summer and not having to be on such a tight schedule during the week, but the Fall weather more than makes up for that. 🙂

One of my favorite things in my wardrobe are sweaters. While I try to get away with an occasional short-sleeve cardigan in the summer, it is not often that I wear them. During the Fall season that I almost all that you will find me wearing. I LOVE a warm, soft, snugly sweater!

Nursing-friendly sweaters aren’t ily hard to come by since almost any cardigan and function as such, but nursing-specific sweaters aren’t easy to find. In fact, I have only seen two companies that even make them. Nursing Queen is one of those companies and they actually make my favorite sweater – the Nursing Sweater with Asymmetrical Flap. This sweater is a dream! I have it in pink and the color is so subtle and dreamy. It is hard to see from the photos on the website, but the sweater is pale pink knitted with pale gray. I am including a close-up photo for our readers to see.

The sweater is made from 50% polyester, 45% rayon, and 5% spandex. and launders well. The fabric is so soft that you may never want to take it off! The sweater fits true to size and hangs  around your belly, which is a plus for postpartum mothers like myself. It also has a cowl neck, which is a plus for me since I don’t like tops that fit tight around my neck (I can’t handle turtle necks or hoodies).

nursing sweater flap

To nurse in the sweater you simply lift up the flap, which can double as you cover if you wish, and you will see a criss-cross top that you can easy move over to give you direct access to your bra clip and breasts. When you are done simply pull the criss-cross back together and lower the flap. This is one of those clothing items that doesn’t scream “nursing-wear” and that you will be able to wear long after you nursing journey has ended. It’s well-worth the investment!

Due to the functionality, softness, and fit this nursing sweater deserves 5 stars on Mammary Brand's Boobable Scale. Nursing Queen makes this sweater in another color and I plan to purchase that one very soon!
