The best nursing dresses for fall family photos
We LOVE fall! Cardigans, denim jackets, chunky knits and scarves…Who else is ready! We also love fall because it’s the perfect time for family photos. This year we’re excited about rich fall tones (think deep green, burgundy and some floral patterns) in some stunning nursing styles. Yes, you can still nurse your baby during the photoshoot and not sacrifice style! Here are a few of our favorite options.
Green Bell Nursing Dress
This green bell nursing dress is perfect no matter the season, especially fall. This beautiful cotton nursing dress is fully lined and has pockets!! This dress is super flattering for a postpartum tummy because it flows away from the body! There are vertical hidden zippers (so easy to nurse your little one during the photo session).

Sunset Floral Nursing Dress
This tie back floral nursing dress just feels so pretty on! Especially with the bow back! So comfortable and you'll feel so put together! The zippers are hidden as bust darts and it has pockets! This is beautiful for fall family photos (and can be matched with our neutral colors).

You can also style this dress with a jean jacket (which is so cute in the fall).

Fit and Flare Black and Tan Dress
The Fit and Flare Black Dress with a tan stripe is a classy and simple wardrobe addition that combines sophistication with comfort and practicality for nursing, pumping, and breastfeeding. It’s perfect for fall photos (and so easy to match with).

Beige Nursing Midi with Floral Print
This Nursing Queen beige nursing midi is flowy and perfect for fall. There are vertical zippers hidden as bust darts and the attached belt hides the zipper pulls at the belt line.
Hannah took several gorgeous family photos in this dress and said “My favorite Midi dress! I can't typically do a midi as I'm short at 5'2" and especially not one that fits well, as I'm a 34K (UK cup size so like 12Ds!) But omgoodness did this ever fit! I tied the belt in back to define my waist and I felt so beautiful! And I can feed my baby discreetly without it looking like a nursing dress. (The zips blend so well with this pattern!).”

If you're looking for something more formal, how about a new long sleeve Holy Grail dress. This new breastfeeding style will drop in September 2025. It will be a long sleeve versions of this best selling nursing dress.
