How to Style Your Summer Nursing Clothes for Fall
Don't pack away your favorite summer nursing clothes just yet! Some of your favorite pieces from your summer wardrobe can easily transition into fall with a few simple styling changes.
Add a blazer, cozy cardigan, jacket, boots, or sneakers and suddenly that nursing dress you wore with sandals all summer has a completely different look. Even better, you can keep wearing the nursing-friendly pieces you already love without buying a whole new wardrobe for fall.
Here are three of our favorite Nursing Queen summer styles and how we're wearing them into fall!
Black Tiered Nursing Dress – Add a Blazer
Our Black Tiered Nursing Dress is so easy to wear all summer with sandals, but don't put it away when the weather cools down! Add a blazer, belt, and cute flats or heels and you've instantly taken this summer nursing dress into fall.
It's an easy look for heading back to work while still giving you convenient access for nursing or pumping throughout the day.
Fit Tip: Kelsey is 5'4", size 2/4, and is wearing a size XS in Nursing Queen.

Black Tiered Nursing Dress – Add a Denim Jacket + Boots
Take that same summer dress and give it a completely different fall vibe with a denim jacket, boots, and a cute hat. We love this look for a country concert, fall festival, or date night!
And because it's still your Nursing Queen dress underneath, you can easily nurse or pump without having to take off your dress or all those fall layers.

Dressy Nursing Blouse – Layer It for Fall
Our Dressy Nursing Blouse is another piece you don't have to pack away after summer. Wear it on its own during the warmer months, then add layers as the temperatures cool down.
Pair it with wide-leg pants and a blazer or jacket for a modern fall work outfit. You can also dress it up with a skirt, heels, and a cape-style jacket for a night out or special event. Bonus: this blouse is maternity-friendly too!

Holy Grail Nursing Dress – Just Add Boots
Our Holy Grail Nursing Dress is basically made for transitioning between seasons. In the summer, wear it with sandals or sneakers. For fall, add a faux-suede jacket, boots, and a hat and you're ready for a night out, concert, or fall date night.
The dress comes in both short and long sleeves, so you can choose whichever works best for your weather.

Holy Grail Nursing Dress – Add a Cozy Cardigan
For a more casual fall look, layer your Holy Grail Dress with a cozy cardigan and white sneakers. It's comfortable enough for a travel day or running around with baby, but still looks put together.

Don't Put Away Your Summer Nursing Clothes Yet!
Transitioning your wardrobe from summer to fall doesn't mean you need to start over. Before packing away your favorite nursing dresses and tops, try adding pieces you probably already have in your closet—blazers, cardigans, denim jackets, boots, sneakers, and fall accessories.
A few simple layers can completely change the look and help you get even more wear out of the breastfeeding clothes that already make nursing and pumping easier.
Bonus: We LOVE this 3/4 sleeve navy cotton nursing top (and it's a perfect top to style for fall and winter). Check out how we styled it in the video below.
