Best Breast Pumps 2024 - Your Top Picks

If you're looking for a breast pump, we've got you covered! We asked our Nursing Queen community about their favorite pumps in 2024 and these are their top picks! These are unbiased opinions from our customers (and we don't get any commissions).

Spectra S1 Plus

The Spectra S1 Plus was the clear winner.

According to Spectra's website:

"The Spectra® S1 Plus Premier Rechargeable double electric breast pump provides all the features of the S2 Plus, but with a built-in battery. This means that you are now able to benefit from the efficiency, power, and performance of a hospital-strength breast pump without compromising on portability."

Amy commented that she likes both the Spectra S1 and S2.

"Spectra S1/S2 is still a favorite. It's very reliable, quiet and does a great job," she posted.

Jessica agreed, "Spectra S1/S2. Prefer the blue portable one. But with the freemie cups!!! Hands free and pop into any nursing bra! Was so much easier to get work done while pumping with them!! Loved how quiet and portable my Elvie was, but no where near as good a pump as my spectra."

BabyBuddha Single or Double Portable Breast Pump

The second most mentioned pump was the BabyBuddha!
According to BabyBuddha's website:

"BabyBuddha’s double electric breast pump gives you the freedom to move! Equipped with a rechargeable battery, six levels of Stimulation Mode, and nine levels of Expression Mode, it’s easy to find settings that are the most comfortable and make your pumping experience efficient. This hands-free breast pump gives you the ultimate flexibility to have a hassle-free pumping experience and to pump how, when, and where you want. Small enough to take anywhere and with an impressively quiet mechanism, our breast pump keeps the whole process discreet."

Rachel said, "Baby buddha! Between the regular flanges and the wearable cups, and high suction it's the best! Their Facebook group is extremely helpful for trouble shooting hacks with other brands pieces as well!"

Elvie Pump

The third top mentioned breast pump was the Elvie.

According to the Elvie website:

"Elvie Pump is smaller, quieter, and smarter than any other breast pump. Plus, our new SmartRhythm™ settings allow you to customize your suction with four different rhythm options, tailoring the pump to your unique requirements and helping you to optimize your milk output."

Sarah said, "I loved the convenience of my elvie pump, it's the only thing I used with my second. I had a spectra with my first and really liked it as well but I ended up liking the elvie more."

Jessica said, "Spectra as my main pump and my Elvie original was a game changer for me as a wearable when I went out." Elvie Breast Pump

There were many other brands that moms recommended including the Willow, Pumpables Genie Advanced, Spectra 2 and Momcozy. What are your favorites?

Sizing- Fit Quiz!

NQ size chart

All of our designs fit true-to-size with a relaxed fit (which compensate for extra weight and a larger chest). Most of them also have an A-line fit, which means they fit across the chest/shoulders but flow away from the body so your waist and hip measurements don't matter.

Our sizes are similar to maternity-wear: order your pre-baby size. If you're between sizes, size down. Typically, the best way to determine your size is to follow your pre-baby size in numbers on the chart (4/6, 8/10, etc).

Plus Sizes: We follow a standard U.S. plus chart. Our plus sizes range from 1X-3X. NOTE: An XXL (in misses) is a size 1X in plus sizing.
