6 Fall and Winter Outfits I'm Living In as a Breastfeeding Mom
Fall is here! It’s time for layers and pumpkins patches (and outfits that make mom life on-the-go a little easier).
As a breastfeeding mom, I want clothes that don’t scream nursing clothes, but also have easy access to feed my baby. Who wants to constantly lift their sweatshirt and get cold? Not me.
These six nursing styles are perfect for fall and winter. And the best part? You'd never know they're nursing clothes!
1. Family Photos & Holiday Events: The Spiced Wine Nursing Dress
Shop the Holy Grail Nursing Midi-Maxi Dress
Family photos, Thanksgiving, Christmas, weddings, holiday parties—this dress does it all! The rich spiced wine color is gorgeous for fall, and the flowy fit is so flattering postpartum. It also comes in a dark teal color. I found a few other color and length options as well, including this super cute black dress.

Pair it with ankle boots for family pictures or dress it up with heels. The hidden nursing zippers mean you can breastfeed without taking off your dress. Yes, please!
2. Pumping at the Office: The Black Nursing Blouse

Going back to the office and pumping can be a challenge. Your clothes shouldn't make pumping more complicated.

This black nursing blouse looks like regular professional workwear, but hidden zippers behind the front pleats make pumping or nursing so much easier. I wear this with everything: trousers, jeans, or under a blazer. It's also perfect for church! Here are a few other favorites for work as a pumping mom.
3. Shopping & Coffee Runs: The Deep Teal Cotton Nursing Sweatshirt

You know those days when you're running errands, grabbing coffee, and hoping the baby naps in the stroller?

This is that sweatshirt. It’s made with 95% cotton, it has pockets, thumbholes, and a relaxed fit. Plus, the hidden two-way zipper makes breastfeeding on the go so much easier.
Just add jeans and sneakers! I also have it in this light gray color (this was the first one I got and loved it so much I bought another).
4. Playdates & Chilly Mornings: The Varsity Nursing Hoodie
Shop the Heather Gray Varsity Heavyweight Nursing Hoodie
Some days call for leggings, sneakers, and a really good hoodie.

This heavyweight gray nursing hoodie has that classic oversized-college-sweatshirt look, with a relaxed fit and hidden breastfeeding access.
Perfect for playdates, school drop-offs, stroller walks, and all those chilly mornings when comfort wins.
5. Travel & Weekend Adventures: The Oatmeal Waffle Nursing Hoodie

Road trips, airports, weekend getaways—breastfeeding while traveling can be stressful enough.
This cozy waffle-knit nursing hoodie has a hidden two-way zipper, making it easier to nurse without pulling up your entire sweatshirt. This sweatshirt is a game-changer when nursing on a plane. I’ve done several cross country flights and this nursing hoodie is my go-to.

It's one of those pieces you'll wear over and over.
Mom Michelle says: "The double zipper is ingenious."
As a mom nursing twins, she especially appreciates how easy it makes feeding on the go.
6. Church & Everyday Fall Outings: The Burgundy Nursing Tunic

This is the top you throw on when you want to look put together without trying too hard.

The beautiful burgundy shade feels perfect for fall, and the longer, relaxed fit looks great with jeans or leggings. Hidden zipper access makes breastfeeding easy, whether you're at church, visiting family, or out for lunch.
Mom Jocelynn says: "My favorite fall shirt!!"
She especially loves the color and how the nursing zipper stays hidden.
You can also find this top in rust and deep green! So cute.
Fall Style That Makes Breastfeeding Easier
Here's what I've learned: being a breastfeeding mom doesn't mean giving up your personal style.
Whether you're dressing for fall family photos, heading into the office to pump, or simply enjoying a playdate, you deserve clothes that are comfortable, flattering, and make feeding your baby easier.
Because the best nursing clothes are the ones nobody realizes are nursing clothes.
